Hi all, So a bit over a year ago I upgraded my Windows 7 - Windows 10, as I'm sure many of us have. I didn't uninstall intel usb 3.0 extensible host controller (As Windows 10 has its own) Anyway, that being said it's been hassle free for all this time until yesterday.

Some hardware needs more then just the .inf file. You can download the USB package and extract then. Then import that into MDT as an application and for the command line use the silent switches for the installation whenever that model is detected via CS.ini file. You may need to remove the usb3.0 drivers you already imported for this model and update the deployment share before you begin the method I mentioned.

I suggest you to run the Network Troubleshooter and check if this helps.Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter:

1. Move the mouse to the bottom left corner of the screen and right-click on the ‘Start’ icon .
2. In the search box, type ‘Troubleshooter’, and then click ‘Troubleshooting’.
3. Under ‘Device, click ‘Hardware and Device'.‌

Also I would suggest you to download and install the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website.

I am having exactly the same problem however when I right click on the start icon it does not give me the option to type Troubleshooter?

Soundwave's cassettes don't get names, but one of the originally nameless Sweeps is christened Claws. Transformers the movie 1986 script. This version is also notorious for being dubbed by a mere five voice performers, with their roles changing in every scene and the spoken lines almost never lining up to the mouth flaps. The only characters with multiple lines that retain their voice actors throughout are Unicron, Galvatron, Daniel, Arcee, Springer, Blurr, Grimlock, Ironhide, Jazz, Soundwave, Wreck-Gar and Kranix. It contained further oddities as well: both Springer and Cliffjumper are called Jumper, Kup is inconsistently named Policeman or Cop, Hot Rod is named Fishing Rod, Arcee becomes RC, Cyclonus is called both Cyclonus and Cyclone, Soundwave's name shifts from Scouter back to his original name, and the Ick-Yak is called 'IQ Jack'.

Thank you for posting your response. I understand your concern, and we in Community will try to help you in the best possible way we can.

This issue may be due to your Universal Bus Controllers is not updated.

Please follow the steps given below to uninstall and update Universal Bus Controllers drivers and check if issue persist.

1. On the search bar, and type “Device Manager” on the search bar.
2. Open Device Manager, expand “UniversalBus Controllers”.
3. Find and double-click Universal Bus Controllers.
4. Right-click the device, and click Uninstall.
5. Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.
6. After the uninstallation is complete, reboot your computer.
7. After you have successfully uninstalled the driver, please go to the computer manufacturer’s website, download the Windows 10 display driver for your computer and check.

Note: If you cannot find the driver for 10, I recommend that you install the driver for 8.1 and run it in compatibility.

Having a similar issue, can report (in my Windows Ten) that 'Universalbus Controllers' doesn't exist, however I do have 'Universal Serial Bus controllers'.

Under 'universal serial bus controllers' there is no mention of a device labeled 'Universal Bus Controllers'.

So for me, that solution is obviously null.

Just out of curiosity, how can reinstalling a display driver possibly affect USB functionality?

To rectify, I would state that you need to locate and expand 'Universal Serial Bus Controller' and install the latest Windows 10 drivers for the USB drives.
