A lot of one star reviews are created by people angry that existing subscriptions do not transfer to the Kindle edition. That is not an issue to me, and I don't believe it reflects the quality of the product. Game Informer is a good magazine. It costs more on Kindle than elsewhere, and does not include the Gamestop rewards. That's worth knowing. GameStop is indeed pushing digital subscriptions more aggressively and will start. We will sign up new members with Game Informer Digital to deliver the best content and experience,' a GameStop. Embark on a journey of epic savings as a GameStop PowerUp Rewards. It's clear to nearly everyone in the media industry that the traditional magazine model is in decline, and yes, I can say that as someone who writes for Forbes. That's why our new website and publishing model had to be so fantastic. But there's one magazine that's still on the rise after all these years, Game Informer, which has now jumped to being the 3rd most circulated publication in the US after a 37% increase over the last year. It's likely as high on the chart as it will ever reach now, as with 8M copies, it's still worlds away from the 22M of AARP The Magazine and AARP The Bulletin, which almost every member of the organization receives and who are the demo most likely to still be reading magazines.
How then, has the "young people's past time" of gaming produced such a popular magazine? Well, Game Informer has its parent company, GameStop, to thank for that. It's practically impossible to buy a game there without managing to get a subscription to Game Informer, and one was given away this past year with the PowerUp Rewards program. In effect, it's about $15 for an entire's year's subscription, and Game Informer is such a powerhouse that even in this digital age, they manage to break news with their covers nearly every month.
Their latest issue has started rumor mills churning, as the game being announced is reportedly SO secret, that they're forbidden with revealing or even hinting at it earlier than its world premiere announcement date. That of course has Half-Life 3 conspiracy theorists excited, though it would seem unlikely Valve would use GI to announce what is probably the most anticipated game of all time. Though if GI did land such a scoop? "Legendary" would be too mild a word.
Bonus fact: I won the October 2001 envelope art contest at GI for my 9/11 tribute piece featuring Captain America.

Game Informer digital to Print. Help needed!
Hi guys I'm a GameStop customer. I upgraded to pro a couple months back ( July or August) and also subscribed to GameInformer magazine. Up until about a month ago I had never read any issues as they were digital. This is where the problem is. I live in Guam and Google Magazine or whatever service is used to view on my phone is not available to me here. Viewing is on mobile browser is a hot mess and I couldn't stand the loading pages. It was just bad.
Last month I had put it a request to change my digital subscription to a print subscription through the Game Informer site. I read it takes 6-8 weeks to receive the print, however, they never acknowledged that the change went through or anything. But then! Several days ago I got an email saying my Feb digital edition is ready to read. So I emailed them right away and haven't got anything back since. I don't want to wait another month to see if I get a print copy or a digital edition.

Where do I go from here now?
Thanks for any help!
